Howdy there...
WE NEED MALE AND FEMALE MODELS....and not you're typical model type either, we just want people who know how to have fun!
Sorry this is last minute but we need finalized models by WEDNESDAY which is TODAY! So if you're interested please read everything below and reply ASAP.
If you're down with the DIY movement, then this is the fashion show for you! But...you must be down!!!!
We will be part of a GIANT clothing swap at the Maker Faire this weekend. The swap entails people bringing clothes and digging through massive piles of unwanted gear to remake new things. Part of the faire is a recycled fashion show!
Fashion show is Saturday, May 30th at 4:45 PM at San Mateo County Expo Center.
We want models who:
- will come to the faire earlier than the 3PM model call time to enjoy the craziness of the faire
- will bring a bag of clothes to swap
- will enjoy digging through the piles and making their own clothes at the swap
- will be at the model call right at 3pm (even if you won't spend the whole hour getting ready)
- will not expect glamorous treatment
- will wear whatever we put on you (I'm thinking plastic bags)
- will look good wearing plastic bags and face masks
- will have fun dancing during the fashion show (please no 'catwalk' walk)
These are the looks we are going for and the people we need. Please let us know your preference:
1. Litter-bug (male or female): you will start off the fashion show. you are an evil villian with a mask and cape, who litters mischievously all over the stage!!!! you know how to play the evil character! if you have your own spandex, +++for you!
2. Clean team (pref. female, unless you like wearing frilly things!): you come in with a sexy apron, rubber gloves, and face mask to clean up after the litter bug. think very pin-up style, poses, gracefully cleaning up. you will wear your own plain black dress or plain colored dress underneath.
3. Recycling renegades (male of female, these might be filled already, but please inquire): you will wear clothes that incorporate plastic bags into them. t-shirts, halter tops, etc. think urban gear, but from plastic! you might be wearing your own jeans, sneakers, etc.
In return for modeling, you'll get free admission to the faire on Saturday (sorry parking cannot be taken care of by us). Ideally, you wanted to attend the faire anyways, but now that you'll loan us your body, you can go for free! We'll also share photos with you. Plus, since you love recycling, you'll get all the clothes you can carry from the swap!
