Recycled Goodwill dress becomes corset vest and mini-skirt
Started as baggy Turkish dress. Time spent (not including shopping for notions): 5 1/2 hours.
Alterations: cut dress in two; took in skirt, added darts and side zip. Already had side slits (not shown).
Top: cut out neck to keyhole shape, opened front; took in and tailored (darts front and back, padding under breast / support). Added frogs.
