I made this skirt from a simple lined black skirt and a horribly ugly blue taffeta bridesmaid dress with a pouffy balloon skirt and, you guessed it, a giant bow in the rear, like a bustle. I don't know who would buy such an ugly dress, let alone wear it, but it cost me $6 at Goodwill and was perfect for my needs.
